The historic battle of Panipat took place in the year 1761, in which despite the powerful and brave soldiers like Rajput-Jat-Maratha, the country had to face defeat.

Surajmal plundered the Mughal capital Agra and annexed it to his kingdom.After this, the Baluchi ruler of Haryana attacked Musabbi Khan, defeated him and imprisoned him and sent him to Bharatpur. 

He handed over his capital Farrukhnagar to his eldest son Jawahar Singh and made him the lord of Mewati region. 

From Agra to near Delhi, Surajmal started speaking. He had to get the sovereignty of his occupied area approved by the Mughal Emperor of Delhi.
